This document is an oath of allegiance taken by Smith Carson for himself, his wife Elizabeth, and his children John Alexander and Margarett Nicholl. It says that Smith Carson and Elizabeth Carson his wife natives of Ireland came into open court and made the following report for themselves and their children John Alexander and Margarett Nicholl Carson also natives of Ireland. It is signed on October 30th, 1826.
