Description

On the first of two pages, this document records the matter of Andrew Carson's, Letitia Carson's son, estate in the wake of his death. It states that Andrew Carson died on September 14, 1922 at 73 years old in Canyonville, Douglas County, Oregon. It also states that he left behind no direct relatives, and that his heir at law are Alice Lavadour, a niece aged 55, and Agnes Marsette, a niece aged 53. They both live in Adams, Umatilla County, Oregon. This probate document comes upon the petition of Alice Lavadour to appoint G.O. McGilvray as administrator of Carson's estate. On the second of two pages, this document appoints G.O. McGilvray as the administrator of Andrew Carson's estate. It states that Martha Carson, his sister, died July 11th, 1911. R.L Cougar, Jasper Yokum, and J.M. Gross are appointed as appraisers of the estate. It was signed by the county judge on September 25, 1922.
